What you will do day-to-day:
- Prepare meat for further processing which includes cut, trim and debone
- Properly operate, maintain and store specialized food equipment and butchers knives
- Maintain a hazard-free, clean and safe work area
- Adhere to sanitation, food plant hygiene and safe work practices
- Ensure integrity of paperwork

What skill sets & qualifications we are looking for:
- Knowledge of pork and beef carcass anatomy
- Takes action to complete goals
- Team-focused with strong people skills
- Organized and pay attention to detail
- Strive for quality, consistency, accuracy and timeliness
- Meat Cutter Apprenticeship preferred. This experience would have been gained through completion of secondary education and/or combination of education and work experience.
