Regina Youth For Christ (RYFC) is seeking a dynamic and visionary executive who is passionate about leading an organization on a mission to connect with disadvantaged young people in the Regina area and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ. The successful candidate will be an experienced Christian leader with a track record of successfully leading a midsize organization. They will be accountable to the Board of Directors and responsible for the direction and day-to-day management of RYFC, made up of:
The Community team - which focuses on school and neighborhood programs; \
The Housing team - which operates four youth homes in Regina and Moose Jaw in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services; and
The Hub team - which provides corporate services to the organization.
The primary responsibilities of the Executive Director are:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and communicate strategic goals in partnership with the Board of Directors;
Ensure the organization executes its strategy;
Responsible for organizational structure and accountable for performance management.
Cultivating a Healthy Culture:
Model and foster behaviors that reflect the mission, vision and values of the organization;
Inspire and coach staff to reach their full potential.
Partnership Development:
Build and sustain healthy relationships with local churches, non-profit organizations, the business community, and government agencies.
RYFC is missionary organization where staff are encouraged to raise support, develop and implement fundraising strategies.
RYFC is a prominent Chapter of Youth For Christ Canada with over 40 staff that works regularly with hundreds of youth each month. In addition to our Community Programs we have a unique and challenging Housing Program run in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services.
