Description

Prairie Diagnostic Services Inc. (PDS Inc.) has 2 full time term openings (term=2 years) for  Laboratory Technologists in the Necropsy Facility.  PDS Inc. is a not-for-profit Veterinary diagnostic laboratory located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. The PDS Necropsy Facility provides fee for service diagnostics as well as shared use to Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative, Western College of Veterinary Medicine and WCVM Veterinary Pathology department.  PDS Necropsy Facility personnel play an active role in providing support to diagnostic work as well as other user's activities.  

The skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of an accredited Veterinary Technologist program.  An equivalent combination of suitable education and relevant work experience may be considered.

This is a SGEU in-scope position designated as SLT 07 and is assigned regulated hours of work (37 1/3 hours per week). Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday 8 AM -5 PM, weekend and overtime work may be required.  Call duty is assigned on a rotational basis including weekends and holidays.
