Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is a key member of the Operations team that identifies, evaluates and exercises sources of supply for the components, materials and services required by the company considering all associated risks and the overall value proposition.

Education requirements:
Post-secondary education or equivalent training and experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with Research & Development and Operations teams to develop a supply chain that meets both technical requirements and operations requirements for stability and capacity
Manage the Material Planning Group to ensure material is available for production.
Manage and guide the logistics, trade compliance and shipping personnel to ensure departmental service level agreements are met, and risks are assessed and mitigated
In conjunction with the legal team, develop and maintain agreements that support ongoing relationships with suppliers.
Develop supply chain team and implement performance development plans as required
Develop best practice process, controls and documentation including implementation of the Supplier Scorecard
