Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Health Services Department is now inviting applications for Permanent Full Time, Medical Transportation Coordinator. This position will be reporting to the Community Services Manager in the community of La Ronge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient coordination of the Medical Transportation program in accordance with the First Nations Inuit Health (FNIH) Non Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) guidelines.
    Provide Medical Transportation benefits to clients in a manner consistent with the NIHB directives and guidelines;
    Ensure support to clientele throughout the process (i.e. obtain/submit information, completion of forms, provide clients with notice of appointments and travel, etc.);
    Develop and monitor annual budgets and yearly program planning;
    Develop proposals, reports, service delivery models and track statistical information;
    Actively involved in development of a Multi-year community health plan, strategic plan and evaluation;
    Provide supervision and direction to Transportation staff;
    Maintain positive public relations with clients; Work effectively with the health care team;
    Effective conflict resolution and problem solving and ability to work under pressure;
