We are a fast growing, locally owned flooring with a large showroom & warehouse on Jasper Ave. We carry high quality products at a reasonable price, in a fun, relaxed retail environment & we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be selling flooring products to our customers. Tasks include greeting customers & assessing their needs, developing an in-depth knowledge of our products, measuring clients floor areas, entering sales into our accounting system, co-ordinating installations, ordering products, & maintaining the appearance of our showroom & outlet centre.
What You Need to Have
You need to be able to work well in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment. You need to be committed to excellent customer service. Being a hardworking & self-motivated individual, while still being a reliable team player is necessary. You need to be a quick learner who can work efficiently with an attention to detail. You will also be required to follow direction & take on any new task that comes your way. Basic reading, writing, & arithmetic skills are required. You need to be comfortable with various computer programs. A valid license & your own vehicle are requirements. You will need to be able to lift items of up to 50 pounds from time to time. A pleasant demeanour & presentable appearance is also necessary. Being organized & punctual is very important. Having previous sales experience is a plus & having previous flooring sales experience is a big plus.
What We Have Not Told You Yet
This is a full-time position. We need you to work Mondays through Saturdays, with a day off in there. Youll also be a part of our group benefit plan, which includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, as well as short and long-term disability benefits.
Salary based on previous sales and/or flooring experience.
