Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with a local Property Management company that is looking for individuals who are interested in Landscaping / Grounds keeping.

Our customer requires someone that loves to be outdoors throughout both the summer and winter, and knows the value of working hard.

The Role:

General lawn care including hedging, pruning, planting, weeding
Garbage pick-up and removal on a daily basis from sites and vacant suites indoor and outdoor
Weekly mowing, trimming of the grass
Planting and creating of flower beds in specified areas
Creation of tree wells for all of the treed areas
Regular maintenance of flower beds and tree wells including weeding
Fertilizing of the grass areas
Spring clean-up as required at other sites authorized by the Regional Manager
Snow removal and clearing walkways in winter months. Clear snow away from the steps, sidewalks and entrances of the buildings. Spread salt on walkways and the entrances of the buildings
Removing furniture and left items from the suites
Other duties assigned by supervisor

The Ideal Candidate:

At least 1 year landscaping/grounds keeping experience
Must be able to work outside in all-weather condition
Must be able to operate equipment
Must be able to lift and move furniture, equipment and supplies
Flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends
Must possess valid drivers license and vehicle
The successful candidate must provide proof that she/he has a valid driver's license when offered employment.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must successfully complete a security clearance
Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to follow direction
Must be able to work on own and have good time management skills
