Our client has an immediate full-time 1-year contract opportunity available for a Pipeline Integrity Engineer in Regina, SK.
Responsibilities:
-Perform business analysis and provide engineering recommendations
-Perform and optimize task completion
-Implement quality and/or business process controls
-Responsible for technical writing and communication
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial, Electrical or Geotechnical Engineering from an Accredited Canadian Engineering program
- Registered as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training required
- 5 years of experience in transmission pipeline integrity required
-Familiarity with pressure control and overpressure protection systems.
-Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license required
-Experience in the oil and gas industry
-Experience with CSA Z662, ASME B31.3
-Experience with audits and regulations
-Knowledge of regulatory bodies and Acts (MECON, NEB, AER, TSASK, Saskatchewan Pipelines Act)
-Experience within the office and field environment required
-Varied engineering background including pipeline integrity, direct assessment, inline inspection, cathodic protection, technical analysis and project experience required
