One Stop Immigration Services Ltd. is recruiting for CAIRNSIDE FARMS LTD., a dairy farm located at Harris, Saskatchewan (SE 27-32-13 West of 3rd Meridian) S0L 1K0. Cairnside Farms Ltd. is looking for 1 Farm Supervisor to perform the following duties: 1) Work as herds person for dairy farm; 2) Feed cows using tractor and breed cows; 3) Milk cows and follow milking guide sheets; 4) Identify sick animals and treat sick cows and calves; 5) Supervise farm workers and develop work schedules; 6) Ensure work is done, deadline is met and farm safety is observed; 7) Maintain daily record of farm operation; 8) Receive instructions from manager and report daily about accomplished work and worker's issues and recommend solutions.
Requirements: 1) English language proficiency, excellent written and oral communication skills; 2) Completed secondary school; 3) Basic dairy farm knowledge with modern farm machinery; 4) Minimum 1-year experience supervising dairy farm workers; 5) Mechanically-inclined; 6) Physically-fit and self-starter; 7) Ability to work independently and with a team; 8) Ability to work long hours in peak season; 9) Mandatory valid driver's licence with clean driver's abstract; 10) Class 1A driver's licence an asset.
Employment details: Job is full-time and permanent; wage at $23.75 per hour at average of 40 hours per week.
