Facility: LA RONGE SITE
Job Description: The position will be responsible for the delivery of a substance abuse youth day treatment program which includes screening, assessment, one to one group counselling and recovering planning services for youth and families affected by substance abuse. The successful candidate must have the ability to facilitate therapeutic groups and provide educational presentations in La Ronge and within the region.
To qualify you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Diploma in Chemical Dependency Studies or equivalent which would be deemed acceptable to the Employer
Experience working in a cross cultural setting
Willingness to travel on gravel roads and in small aircraft.
Valid Saskatchewan drivers license
The successful candidate shall be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Hours of work are 224/6 weeks (field hours).
Expected Start Date: August 15, 2017
FTE: 1.00
