Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver is a hybrid role which will encompass responsibilities in the following areas:
WAREHOUSING:
Coordinating the processing of outgoing product, preparing and loading material in a timely manner so as to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
TRUCK DRIVING:
Transporting material to and from customers and other locations using a trailer truck
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid DZ license with a clean drivers abstract is required
Forklift driving experience and/or certification is an asset
Approximately 3-5 years of warehousing experience in both shipping and receiving; organizing and managing a work flow is required
Certification for Transportation of Dangerous Good is an asset
Motorized Material Handling Equipment Certification is an asset
Ability to use a handheld or truck mounted RF unit/scanner is an asset
High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Capable of working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Ability to multi-task and keep the warehouse operation functioning
