Description

Kipling Kidcare is seeking a full time energetic and committed Early Childhood Educator with Level 1, 2 or 3 certification, as determined by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. Position will start August 28th 2017.

Qualifications:
ECE I, II or III certification, as determined by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education
First aid and CPR C certification
RCMP criminal record and child abuse registry check
Must be at least 18 years of age

Education:
Early Childhood Education courses preferred but not required. People with post-secondary training in the fields of psychology, nursing, long-term care, educational assistant, social work, and other related social sciences or health care fields often have transferrable credentials for Early Childhood Educator certification.
Understanding of the Saskatchewan Child Care Licensee Manual  is as asset

Essential Skills:
Upbeat, positive, caring attitude
Appreciation of play-based learning
Ability to engage, communicate with and supervise groups of up children from six weeks to 12 years of age
Ability to plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities, crafts and games
Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and efficiently
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Willingness to perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks, change diapers, help with potty training, etc.
