St. Louis Childcare Centre is excited to announce the opportunity to join our dedicated team of Early Childhood Educators. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their future working with young children, who is creative and energetic.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Observe children and report and document learning
Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for a multi-age group of children
Diaper/toilet training of toddlers
Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toileting habits
Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
Develop a creative, enriching environment for children to learn
Assist in housekeeping duties
Prepare and serve snacks and lunches
Required Qualifications:
Have a minimum Level 1 in ECE or willing to work towards
Certificate in First Aid and CPR
Updated Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable sector
Must be legally eligible to work within Canada
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience working with children of all ages, of the will to learn
Physically able to lift moderate weights and get down on a child's level
Positive role model and attitude
