Description

The Town of Watson is now accepting applications for the full time position of Public Works Supervisor.  This position is deemed permanent and will work directly with the Administrator and Town Council.

Work includes maintenance and operation of the municipal road system including graveling, grading, street sweeping and snow removal. Property maintenance - grass cutting, tree trimming etc. experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment would be an asset. Available to be on call for schedules weekends. Provide written reports on matters related to Public Works for council meetings, Supervision of maintenance employees. Work with the Waterworks supervisor when the operation of the municipal water and sewer infrastructure such as underground lines, lift stations, pump house, wells lagoon and water treatment plant including water/sewer testing and samples forwarded for analysis as required by government regulations.

Valid driver's license is required. Willing to take the necessary training for Operator Certification for Water and Wastewater. The Town of Watson offers a benefit package and pension plan.
