Description

Olysky is currently recruiting a Project Specialist who is responsible for planning and minor day to day coordination of activities, ensuring that project timelines and budgets are adhered to.  
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate work, troubleshoot problems while providing input and support to the team to identify tasks and maintain deadlines.
Work with project team to identify and continually improve project processes and team performance.
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are brought forward in a timely manner, documented and approved.
Participate in and report on project milestones and weekly status reports, including project scoping, tendering, costs and timeframes.  
Record, report and review existing barn plans, layouts and blueprints.
Review, report and provide analysis for engineering reports and consultant reviews
Work closely with project managers, supervisors and other stakeholders with project related activities and coordination
Review and scope possible project related activities with contractors and external suppliers
Travel to barns and record site conditions, measurements, etc. and provide a detailed layout or drawing.
Other duties as required
Requirements:
Post-secondary training- engineering degree, EIT or trade certificate (Electrical, Mechanical, structural or Agricultural training will be an asset)  
Exceptional organizational skills and strong inter personal skills, analytical minded
Ability to read, analyze and record blueprints and as built records
Proficiency with Microsoft office suite, Microsoft project
Experience and familiarity with Auto CAD/ drafting soft ware
Effective time management skills, able to work well in a team or on their own and able to multitask
Familiar with preparing budgets, cost analysis and cost benefit spread sheets
A valid drivers license
