Car Tops of Regina has been serving Regina & area since 1984. We not only create quality custom top fittings for cars and boats, we also work with automotive glass, automotive upholstery, boat interiors, and seat heaters. The successful applicant will be using a manual sewing machine to make, repair or reinforce seat covers, boat covers and tarps, bug screens and winter fronts, as well as other miscellaneous upholstered items.
We are currently hiring for one position as an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years of experience in automotive, marine and furniture upholstery. While speaking native languages is not discouraged, all communications will be provided in English. The applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 23 kgs (50lbs).
Located at 507 Lorne Street, Regina, SK S4R 2J6, the working hours are from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with a one hour unpaid lunch beginning at 12:00PM. The work environment is a garage atmosphere, as such can be loud and dusty. Personal protective equipment such as ear plugs and masks can be provided.
There are occasionally projects that will require some out of town travel, in which case, arrangements such as transportation, lodgings, and meals will be arranged.
