Job Description: As a member of the Quality Improvement Program, this position is accountable to the Director of Quality Improvement for the provision of Quality Care Coordinator Services as mandated by the Ministry of Health, Government of Saskatchewan and the additional responsibilities of: supporting and participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives and processes; coordinating and/or participating in the Accreditation process; and participating in the regional quality  and safety committee.

Required Qualifications:
Nursing Diploma or Degree or qualifications in a healthcare-related field.
Eligibility for registration with the SRNA or RPNAS
Alternate education and relevant experience may be considered
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement tools (LEAN)
Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable software programs e.g. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must possess the ability to perform effectively both independently and within a team to develop sound working relationships with a variety of individuals and groups.
Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines.
Ability to provide Adult Education.
Ability to re-prioritize work and the ability to move between priority areas with ease.
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.

This position will preferably be based in Meadow Lake; however, consideration will be given to an alternate location for qualified applicant.

FTE: 0.50

Hours of Work: In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours
