Description

BSC needs Data Architects to support 5 projects.You will be accountable to the Manager, Enterprise Architecture for performing advanced analytics and problem solving related to data, types of data and relationships among data elements to incorporate into the enterprise logical data model.

Requirements:
University Degree or Technical Certificate in IT/Engineering
Solid experience in in technology components from various technical disciplines: cloud, IoT, clients, servers, storage, mobility and web platforms, database platforms, security, and networks
Comfortable presenting technical concepts to a variety of audiences
Familiar with Data Quality frameworks and best practices
Able to capture and document data requirements
Understand SOA, Message Schemas, and related technologies (XSD, WSDLS, )
Data mappings (Source to target mappings, Message schema mappings, etc.)
Demonstrates understanding of architecture frameworks, methodologies and tools
8+ years of cross discipline experience including IT and business
Demonstrates expert knowledge of architecture frameworks, methodologies and tools
Experience designing, capturing, and maintaining Data/Information Flows (To-Be / As-Is)
Experience designing, capturing, and maintaining SOA message models that align to Logical Data Models
Experience designing, creating, and maintaining Logical Data Models
Conduct workshops to gather data definitions, characteristics and business rules
Identify risks, concerns and develop recommendations to mitigation plans for these items
Ensure designs are compliant with security, privacy, regulatory regulations and standards

Nice to have:
Certification and experience with The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF)
Certification and experience with DAMA Framework (DMBoK)
