Objective: To work with residents of the YWCA and individuals in crisis to provide guidance and support to improve their quality of life. To maintain a clean, secure facility and to provide assistance to the public and residents when necessary.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Client Service - smile, greet and offer service to the public, the residents and other support other organizations.
- After-hours and crisis intakes.
- Maintain building security.
- Ensure nightly cleaning duties are complete.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Provide support and advocacy to the residents and clients of the YWCA.
- Provide feedback to the Manager regarding clients.
- Provide feedback to the Manager on major issues and incident reports.
- Some administrative duties.
- Attend crises as they arise during non-office hours. Contact Manager in event of a major crisis.
- Prioritise work, attending to the most urgent needs of the clientele first.
- Work unsupervised.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Coded time sheet sheets are in effect, see Manager.
- Any other duties as requested
