Description

Competition #: AU-0049

Established in 1976 the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nation governed post-secondary institution.  Recognized under provincial legislation, the Institute has been conferred authority to grant certificates and diplomas.  SIIT welcomes over 2000 students into our urban and community programs annually as well as serving over 4800 clients through our eight Career Centers across the province. The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies is playing a significant role in Saskatchewans economic future.  You can contribute to that success while building your career.

JobSeries is a group of four different short courses which enable clients to become job ready or to maintain employment.  These programs respond to the needs of clients who wish to pursue personal skills development, plan to return to education/training, or to obtain or maintain employment.  Activities may include developing actions plans to overcome barriers, planning and scheduling for long term goals, go directly to employment or enhance employment skills for maintaining long term employment.

The Facilitator will be responsible for delivering a specific program according to the needs of the community, funding agency or employer.  Working collaboratively with other SIIT employees and partners, the Facilitator will demonstrate a strong commitment to create and maintain a creative and positive learning environment at SIIT.
