General Information:
The City of Saskatoon is seeking part-time/contract learn to skate instructors for our introductory skating programs at Cosmo, Lions and ACT Arenas. Our ice skating programs are designed for children ages 3 to 9. The program provides basic skating instruction in a fun and safe learning environment.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children ages 3 to 9
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of the basic fundamental skills needed to participate in the activity of skating
The ability to lead a group of children in a structured activity
Past involvement and participation in ice skating sports is an asset.
Must be 16 yrs of age or older.
Skills and Abilities:
Punctual and reliable
Energetic and enthusiastic
CPR and Standard First Aid not required but is an asset.
Only select candidates will be called for an interview.
