The Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students Association (SPSA) is looking to add an experienced, creative and independent short order cook to our Prince Albert campus. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work independently, a self-starter with a passion for fresh, healthy food and the ability to handle all aspects of a small but fast paced, commercial kitchen. The successful applicant must be Food Safe Certified, energetic, outgoing, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Daily Food Prep and weekly ordering of inventory
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Preparation of breakfast and lunch menu items and the ability to follow recipes
- Practice safe food handling guidelines at all times
- Comfortable working with currently limited kitchen equipment
- Any other duties as assigned
Preference will be given to individuals who have completed a Culinary Arts or Apprenticeship Program.
