Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

This strategic leadership position will collaborate with JA team members and stakeholders to build a Provincial Integrated Development Plan that will ultimately diversify and expand the existing individual, foundation, corporate and government donor portfolio.  The position will also have strategic oversight of JA Saskatchewan's signature business recognition events in Saskatoon and Regina  the Business Hall of Fame dinners.   A diverse range of funding priorities will provide the successful candidate a variety of opportunities from which to build, including a transformational initiative to establish a digital learning platform and significantly expand student reach across Saskatchewan via new and revamped, leading-edge programs.

The successful candidate is a dynamic, strategic, ethical, results-oriented leader, with a proven track record of securing 5-6 figure plus, major corporate, individual and foundation gifts.  The knowledge and ability to manage all aspects of a multi-faceted development program in a not-for-profit model, involving a complex stakeholder group is critical. Experience with complex gift structures across a variety of financial instruments is required. The preferred candidate will be expected to build a Development Plan and over time a team, and lead JAs fund development results to new heights across Saskatchewan.

We are looking for a donor-centered leader who can lead by example.  Someone with operational savvy, a collaborative nature; a professional communicator who exercises transparency in all interactions while demonstrating an ability to execute the best in donor stewardship.
