Description

Location Supervisor

Location: Regina, SK.

The Location Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of an operations region and overall performance of their team in the execution of Farmers Edge Precision Solution packages to growers and partners.


Duties may include the following:

Financial and Operations Management

Oversee management of day to day hub operations including mapping, sampling, soil sample submission, and technical support for clients.
Ensure client invoicing is accurate and on time.
Monitor and provide effective due diligence on hub expense decisions:
Below your approval limit ($1000) or budgeted expenses;
Expenses beyond budget or approval limit will need approval of Ops Manager.
Review financial records such as profit and loss statements for the hub, and adjust strategy to ensure financial goals are met.
Proficient operation of Farmers Edge data management and zone mapping software, and other software applications used to deliver service at Farmers Edge.
Ensure proper implementation of Farmers Edge policies and procedures to hub employees are met including expense reports, mileage reporting, vehicle records, time sheets, safety and incident reporting etc.
Enter and maintain accurate work progress within Farmers Edge workflow.
With assistance of service specialists, ensure set standards of quality work are met by hub personnel.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of a two-year diploma from a recognized agricultural college or bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field.
A minimum of three years of experience in related work with emphasis in operational management, sales, crop production.
