Main Duties will include but are not limited to:
-Serve, take orders of food and beverages at the lounge (mix alcoholic drinks, ensure area is fully stocked with drinks, food, glasses, fruit)
-Describe menu items including daily specials for customers.
-Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations/upsell
-Address customer complaints or concerns
-Clear and clean bar area, washing dishes, glasses, tables, trays and chairs; adhere to hygiene standard and safety
- Entertain and talk to customers, organize and help with events.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Prepare and serve flambes and other specialties at customers' tables
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Store wines
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
- Perform sensory evaluation of wines
- Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
- Describe and advise on wine selection
