Description

Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Health Services (PBCNHS) is now inviting applications for a permanent Full Time Finance Manager to work out of the Central office in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. PBCNHS is an incorporated First Nations organization governed by a Board of Directors and employs over 150 staff providing comprehensive health programs & services to 5 of the PBCN communities. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager oversees the Finance department & the overall financial management & direction of the organization.  

The Finance Manager will have the appropriate education & experience to:
-Lead audit preparation & serve as the primary point of contact with auditors.
-Continuously, monitor, review, implement and update financial control policies, procedures & processes
-Provide leadership in overall financial planning including preparing for and facilitating annual operating, program, capital and construction budgets & forecasting processes
-Prepare and present/submit required financial reports
-Review & manage payroll operations including tracking, monitoring and submitting forms required by government agencies, annual preparation and processing of T4s, & all other payroll related requirements
Required Knowledge & Skills:
-Solution orientated & strong organization skills with ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
-Ability to work under pressure & to meet deadlines
-Superior written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal, public relations & personal management skills
-Advance proficiency with ADP, ACCPAC modules &/or other well-known accounting programs
-Experience working with First Nations organizations &/or Federal Health Funding Agreements is a definite asset
-Bondable
-Valid Provincial Drivers License                    
-Satisfactory Criminal, Vulnerable populations & Driver record checks
