Have you worked with agricultural irrigation but hated the insecurity once the peak season is done? Are you wondering why we are advertising for an Irrigation Tech as Autumn approaches?
Our client is well-known in Saskatchewan, establishing itself as a quality name in both John Deere Equipment as well as the Irrigation and Tile Drainage industry; 90% of their key customer base is in the Saskatoon area.
They are expanding their team to include multiple Service Technicians to service their Irrigation customer base. The bonus is - they offer guaranteed twelve (12) months employment each year - offering you to garner additional training as a John Deere Technician (and pursue apprenticeship)!
What would you be doing?
- Installation and ongoing preventative/regular maintenance including:
- Field calls/installs
- Troubleshooting pivots
- Startups
- Operator Training
- Administering Work Orders
- Warranty Claims
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Technical experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation equipment (mandatory)
- Electrical ticket (preferred)
- Willingness to travel throughout SK as required (remaining 10% of customer base)
- Willingness to reside near Outlook or Central Butte
