Description

One of our companys major business is exporting and trading internationally with China. Our commercial goods are canola oil, maple syrup, food seasoning, and ice wine and so on.

We are opening one permanent & full time position: Landscape Designer (NOC: 2225)

1. Assess our farm sites, prepare drawings, sketches and reports, performing duties to assist President in designing landscaped environments;
2. Use creativity and knowledge of ethology to design a beautiful and functional area for poultry;
3. Analyze the assessment of current vegetables, soil conditions, lighting, and the view etc.;
4. Research topics related to vegetables and poultry, their ability to survive in an area, living guidelines and codes;
5. Prepare and present accurately detailed plans and drawings, including applications, construction details and specifications by using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software;
6. Present proposals to the vegetable and poultry farm, deal with inquiries and negotiate any amendments for the final design;
7. Make video presentations, when necessary, discuss the detailed design, and complete with charts, sketches, and so forth;
8. Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures;
9. Review plans, proposed changes, and any other necessary documents;
10. Keep records, including everything from correspondence to reports;
11. Carry out environmental impact assessments;
12. Analyze environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage;

Job requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture & Landscape

Work Hour:
9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1 hour lunch time), Monday to Friday.

$23.50 per hour, 40 hours per week. Yearly salary will be around $49000.
