Reporting to the Business and Community Development Manager the Maintenance Manager oversees all aspects of the shop maintenance functions of the Company.  The fundamental responsibility of this position is to support the Maintenance Team.  This position is based out of Pinehouse on a Monday to Friday schedule.  Flexibility in travelling to remote work sites and PBN offices will be required on occasion.  
Responsibilities include a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:
-Ensure all maintenance objectives are achieved in an economical, safe, and environmentally responsible manner
-In collaboration with the Corporate Controller, develop the annual budget.
-Ensure maintenance activities are carried out within company policy, customer needs, and all legislative requirements
-Ensure the maintenance management system is utilized effectively to maintain cost control and minimize disruption to operations
-Work with Operations Teams to ensure equipment availability for projects and coordinate logistics of material, tools and equipment.
-Assign daily job tasks to maintenance employees, as well as contractor personnel, when required
-Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day duties of maintenance
-Generate maintenance work orders
-Conduct safety meetings and inspections
-Assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required in response to changing circumstances and the economical and physical environment of the Company

Qualifications
Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have previous supervisor experience (considered an asset; however, not a requirement)
Certification in WHMIS, Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate; Fire Extinguisher; and SCOT
PME, HD Equipment Operator Certification, OH&S Level 1 and 2 considered an asset
Class 5 drivers license
Be a highly motivated self-starter, possessing good interpersonal and organizational skills
