Description

Goudy Transport is seeking for fluid transfer operators in the oil & gas industry in South Eastern Sask. Based in Stoughton SK the privately-owned company offers a modern fleet of tri drive trucks & trailers.
Operators will be required to have a clean driver abstract with the ability to obtain transfer of dangerous goods certification.
Operators will be required to work independently to ensure safe transfer of fluid products.
The company offers in house repair services, a full maintenance program, flexible work schedules, simulated in house training, company incentives and health benefits.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to transport fluid products from the designated locations.
The operator will be responsible for loading and unloading of product while ensuring legislative requirements,company and customer policies are satisfied.
The candidate will be required to receive directions, verbally, written and electronically, and must meet time deadlines of product delivery.
As an operator you will be expected to follow roads, municipal maps and understand LSD locations.
The candidate will be required to complete documents, such as bill of lading, log books and meet the physical demands of the job. Must be able to satisfactory complete the training requirements, such as WHIMIS, H2S and any other requirements required by clients.
Must be able to determine conditions, such as road hazards that would be harmful to themselves, the traveling public or to the equipment being operated.
Candidates need to be able to compete minor emergency repair that would enable them to return to the shop or get to a safe location.
Must be able to work a flexible work arrangement and communicate in a clear concise manner to clients and colleagues.
Must represent the company in a prudent manner to ensure client satisfaction.

 

Skills and Abilities

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness) Training
 - Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A)
Documentation Knowledge
 - Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
