Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Management, the Project Manager is responsible for the ongoing planning, coordination and implementation of assigned procurement projects for the Childrens Hospital of Saskatchewan, within the approved scope and budget, using the corporate project management framework.

In addition, the incumbent will work closely with the Expeditor in supporting the delivery and installation of equipment purchased for the new facility.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
Trained in Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and guidelines with eligibility PMP Certification
Experience
Five years experience in project management and procurement
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Project management skills
Ability to work independently
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Ability to be flexible and willing to adapt to change in workload and crisis situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to manage within an environment of restricted resources
Ability to ensure effective use of resources
Ability to lead change and innovation
Ability to plan, prioritize and oversee numerous concurrent projects effectively
Ability to ensure establishment of appropriate standards, policies and practices
Knowledge of financial management including budgeting, long term planning, capital projects
Working knowledge of general financial management principles
Ability to maintain a focus on quality and safety
