Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership
Leads and coaches a team of 5 to 14 employees including seasonal employees.
Shares knowledge openly with others and translates the organizations direction.
Communicates and shares common vision and annual plan with employees.
Accustomed to established performance objectives with Account Managers, Operations, Sales, and Administrative and Seasonal employees.
Ability to motivate others to reach stretch goals.
Financial Management
Participates with Area Manager to establish annual sales forecasts, planning and budget for the facility.
Establishes operating budget. Reviews facility budget and expenditures. Identifies and provides insight into variances.
Business Acumen
Assesses the performance of facility; recommends improvements and participates in expansion plans.
Participates in product forecasts.
Keeps up to date with OH&S practices, WHMIS legislation and the TDG Act.
Industry Liaison
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with trucking companies, operators and logistic support companies that work with G-Macs AgTeam.
Learns and upgrades knowledge of products as required.
Maintains strong working knowledge of key industry people and competitors.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift boxes weighing 50 lbs
