Description

The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, Fleet Services, is seeking  Journeyperson or Fourth Year Apprentice Mechanic for its Prince Albert Repair Depot.

Under the general direction of the Service Supervisor, you will provide customer repair services to Fleet Services clients. This includes mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance and Saskatchewan Government Insurance safety inspections to all types of trucks and highway construction and maintenance equipment, with services performed in the shop and field. Travel is required with the possibility of overnight stays.

To qualify for this position you will possess a valid Journeyperson Certificate recognized by the Province of Saskatchewan or be in the fourth year of an apprenticeship program in Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport or Agricultural Mechanics.  You will also possess a valid Class 5 operator's license, with the ability to upgrade to Class 1A within the probationary period.
