Description

Job Duties:
- Create, develop, implement an effective marketing plan, budgets and strategies, value propositions and messages for key market segments that will impact revenue generation.
- Develops systems, processes, partners etc. to identify, gather, analyze and synthesize market information which will then be used to develop marketing strategies.
- Develops and executes marketing messages that ensures Norseman is appropriately positioned in the market place.
- Develops and evaluates marketing campaigns, determine content and advertising messages, and implement communications strategies for targeted segments.
- Leads internal communications and marketing initiatives.
- Leads and manages an in-house Marketing team that is responsible for all of the above.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a Senior Marketing role, of which 3+ years must be in a proven leadership role.
- Exceptional knowledge of corporate marketing and branding; developing, writing and delivering external communication programs; developing high-quality written content for different communication channels including emails, brochures and presentations.
- Experience in partnership development activities.  Ability to develop strong relationships and work with Senior Level Executives.
- Strong project management and performance measurement skills.
- Ability to compile and analyze performance data to develop metrics that support decision-making for resource allocation and subsequent campaigns.
- Effective time management, organizational and leadership skills.

Saskatoon will be the preferred location for this role; however; either Calgary or Edmonton locations may be considered for the right candidate.  Must be able to travel on occasion for industry tradeshows and marketing events (at times extending into weekends).
