Position Overview:

The Accounting Technician is responsible for efficiently posting vehicle sales, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and various reporting.

Primary Duties:
-Processing accounts receivable, invoices, customer payments, and contract funding.
-Account reconciliation and internal auditing.
-Respond to dealer inquiries and concerns.
-Conduct general accounting activities including monthly account reconciliations, posting general ledger entries, and month end activities.
-Other duties as assigned.

What are the minimum requirements for this job?
-College Diploma or equivalent experience.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
-Experience with accounting software; Reynolds and Reynolds and Great Plains experience is an asset.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player.
-Must be proactive, energetic, and have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
-Must be well organized, assertive, diplomatic, and detail oriented with accuracy in all functions of the role.
