Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manual and processes
Square up and weld components in various directions, flat, horizontal, verticial and overhead, etc.
Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/specifications
Clamping, holding, tack welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding parts as necessary to create the final welded product.
Operation of measuring instruments, drill presses, power saws, grinders,metal lathers, and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.

EDUCATION:
Min high school diploma or GED
Related trade certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution is beneficial
Combination of education and experience will be considered
Previous experience with the manufacturing of farm equipment and or having a farm background is an asset.
