The Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for a Campground Attendant to work at the Humboldt Campground starting August 28 and continuing through the until end of season (October long weekend, weather and availability permitting).Applicants must be reliable, punctual, able to work with the public and on their own. Approximately 30-40 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with operating the Visitor Information Centre, Campground and Mini Golf
- Daily facility and campground upkeep (including yard maintenance, grass trimming, pruning back trees and shrubs, watering plants, weeding, cleaning facilities including washrooms)
- Customer service (assisting campers with reservations, providing tourist information, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Be presentable and self-motivated
- Have a friendly and positive personality
- A good knowledge of the Humboldt Region would be an asset.
