ERCO Worldwide, a division of Superior Plus LP, is a global commodity chemicals company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company is the leading worldwide provider of chlorine dioxide technology and one of the worlds leading suppliers of sodium chlorate and sodium chlorite, used primarily for the manufacture of chlorine dioxide. The companys chloralkali products are used primarily in the water treatment, pulp and paper, and oil/gas industries.
ERCO Worldwide Saskatoon currently has an opening for a full-time INSTRUMENT MECHANIC. Reporting to the E/I Supervisor, the successful candidate will provide instrumentation support to plant operations as assigned. Some weekend scheduling is required on a group rotational basis.
The Person:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years industrial experience
- Must possess strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
- Must have a Journeyman Instrument Mechanic Certificate that is valid in the Province of Saskatchewan.
- Experience with general instrumentation and automated controls, including DCS and PLC systems is required.
- Experience with Delta V is an asset
- Must be a team player with good communication skills
- Applicants must submit a copy of their journeyman certificate with their application.
Remuneration:
The starting rate of pay for this unionized position is $47.40 per hour. A comprehensive benefit package is also offered. The working environment encourages the achievement of personal best within an overall framework of effective teamwork.
