Winmar Swift Current is looking for a skilled Carpenter/Drywall Finisher. Carpentry tasks such as; wood framing, bathroom renovations and general renovations; drywalling, mudding,installing windows, doors, structure demolition, quality checks, site safety and clean up.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Specific Skills
- Utilize laser alignment system
- Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exterior surfaces
- Tape over joints with tape and compound
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Sand seams and joints
- Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- Measure, cut and fit and install drywall sheets
- Install exterior and interior steel studs
- Install metal stud framing and furring
- Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
- Finish corners and angles
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks
- Fabricate grids for acoustical and coffered ceilings
- Erect scaffolding
- Cut openings in laths for piping, ducts and electrical outlets
- Cut and install metal corner beads
- Create decorative designs in finish coat
- Clean and prepare surfaces
- Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
- Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
