Autism Services of Saskatoon is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Speech and Language Pathologist. The successful candidate will work closely with and form an integral part of the Autism Intervention Program team.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Masters Degree in the area of responsibility; must be a member of and licensed with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
-Demonstrated understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
-Knowledge of best practices in serving children/youth with ASD; including the skills to work closely with behavior consultants and provide supervision for support workers, consult with families and other team members internal and external
-Excellent communication skills (verbal/written); decision making skills; professional judgement skills; and organizational/time-management skills
-Possess a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle is required
-Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
The successful applicants for this position will also be required to provide a police background check as a condition of employment.
