Vertex is currently accepting applications for one full-time, permanent Labourer. The successful candidate must have previous hydro-vac experience.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Must have steel toed safety boots
Ability to work with heavy loads
Must be able to work in a physically fast pace environment that may be outdoors, in dangerous and/or dusty environments
Self-motivated and a team player
Must support a safety-oriented work environment
Previous hydro-vac experience is required
Must have current tickets for H2S, First Aid, CSE and Ground Disturbance
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist hydro-vac operations
Load, unload and transport materials
Remove rubble and other debris in work area
Sorting garbage bins and recycling items
Assist in cleaning shop, yard, and vehicles
Work in a safety environment and successfully meet timelines and deadlines
Perform other related tasks as required
Essential Skills

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Driver's licence
- Confined Space Entry
Additional Skills
- Write daily basic progress reports
