Under the direction of the Daycare Manager and the Daycare Supervisor, you will provide trustworthy child care and educate children by providing a nurturing and stimulating environment based on the multicultural philosophy of the Center, wherein each child may develop to his/her potential; physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and creatively.

**Candidates under consideration will be required to participate in an assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, language abilities, and written test.
**Education and Experience:
-Early Childhood Educator Level 1 - Orientation to Early Childhood Education (120 hours introductory course) and one year experience as a daycare worker OR,
-Equivalent of Orientation to Early Childhood Education, as determined by the provincial Child Daycare Branch, and one year experience as a daycare worker.
**Required Licenses and/or Certificates:
-Certificate in Standard First Aid and CPR.
-Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) certification - no criminal record (includes Vulnerable Sector Search) must be done within the last three months.
-Medical certification that physical and mental health is sound and appropriate for working with children.
-Negative tuberculosis test.
