The Food Services Supervisor, under the
supervision of the Manager, is accountable for the
supervision and efficient daily operation of the
Business.
Hires, performance manages and disciplines staff
as required
Manages scheduling: authorizes shift changes,
overtime and time sheets
Maintains inventory of all goods according to
established standards
Completes daily Food Stores orders and supervises
the rotation of food items
Train staff, solve problems and promote business
Job Requirements:
1-2 years recent related experience
Knowledge of quantity food preparation methods
Demonstrated communication skills
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and
communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and self-direction
Proven skills in labour relations and staff
supervision, preferably in a unionized environment
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making
skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Must be able to work well under pressure in a
constantly changing environment
