Permanent Part Time Educational Assistant  55%  
                        
Current Location:    Sacred Heart School/Ecole Sacr Coeur, Estevan, SK

Start Date:        as soon as possible

Hours:            As scheduled by the Principal

Required Skills/Training:    
    Minimum Grade 12 education.
    Post-secondary courses in programs such as Early Childhood Development, Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide or similar related areas and/or related experience would be considered an asset.
    Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Physical Assault Response would be considered an asset.
    Experience with, and ability to handle high needs children with a variety of emotional and physical needs would be considered an asset.
    Experience with, and ability to handle, the needs of Pre-Kindergarten children would be considered an asset.
    Based on the needs of individual students, ability to provide assistance in occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring and transportation could be required.
    First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.
    Possess a current and valid drivers license.
    Familiarity and understanding of the French language would be a definite asset.

Requirements:    
    Current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks upon hiring
    Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith

Rate of Pay:        Starting wage $18.29 per hour
