ABOUT:
Harvest Community Inc. has been providing work and training opportunities for people with special needs for over 40 years. We currently have openings for a supervisor for our day program. This work is particularly suitable for those with a strong work ethic, organizational and supervisory skills and, importantly, with a vocation to help those with special needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands on production and program leader, guiding and training people with special needs.
Maintains an effective system of communicating the organizations vision, mission and goals
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Reports to the Operations Manager. Supervise assigned light industrial assembly projects, and wiping rag production, as well as to assist and work alongside Program Participants in the work center and other project centers.Trains and guides those with special needs.

This is a permanent, full-time position

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Prefer three to five years experience in production or similar environment, such as farming.
Education: Grade 12 or Higher
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada, and can communicate/read/write fluently in English.
