Southeast Physiotherapy is looking to hire a full-time, permanent Kinesiologist to join our team.
CREDENTIALS:
Kinesiology degree
CEP designation
Malpractice insurance (through SKESA/CSEP)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Implement exercise programs to private payer and insurance clients
o Instruct a weekly hydrotherapy program
o Provide education to clients
o Return to work planning in collaboration with the physical therapists
o Occupational testing- providing pre-employment physical tests, drug and alcohol testing, mask fitting, audiometric and spirometry testing (on-site training provided)
o Administer fitness tests
o Assist the physical therapists as required
o Administrative duties as required
o Prepare reports regarding clients progress
JOB INFORMATION:
Three weeks paid vacation
Extended health and dental benefits are available after three months
Continuing education available at $1000/year plus two paid education days
Annual CSEP-CEP and SKESA registration fees paid by the clinic
Other courses paid by the clinic:
o Urban Poling Instructor Certification
o Complete Concussion Management Practitioner
Certification
o FMS- Functional Movement Systems- Level 1
