Job duties will include but are not limited to:
High level of experience and competency inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, diagnostics, oil changes, tire rotation, transmission, brake and cooling system service.
Maintain vehicle function/ condition by troubleshooting engine codes; diagnosing drivability; conducting inspections; repairing engines; repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
Competent in engine and rear end repair, transmission, timing belt, water pump, clutch repair.
Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives before and after repair and maintenance work.
Must be competent with computer and electronic diagnostic equipment use.
Must be competent with tools required for repair of all assigned jobs.
Must be experienced in most makes and models
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
