Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to manage operations of the concession at the West Central Events Centre (WCEC) in Kindersley. Working in collaboration with the Department of Community Services and local sports and recreation groups, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating a concession or similar food service, and will be able to provide exceptional customer service that complements the WCEC and makes this a successful and sustainable concession operation.

Candidates must have proper food handling certification and be fully aware of local, provincial and federal regulations related to food preparation and restaurant best practices. The hours of operation will be coordinated with the successful candidate and the Department. This is a temporary (seasonal) position from September to May.

The expectation is that the concession has regular operating hours and be open for all major seasonal events, including but not limited to tournaments, hockey games, concerts, trade shows, and conferences. Also, it is expected that the successful candidate will be able to work with all stakeholders and volunteers as required.
