Description

Since 1992, Parkland Manufacturing Ltd. has delivered the highest quality custom steel fabrications to customers in a broad range of industry sectors.  From our 10,000 sq ft facility in Esterhazy, SK we fabricate custom steel structures up to 22,000+ lb pieces using carbon, stainless steel and specialty metals.

We have an additional 12,000 sq ft of production space which houses a state of the art robotic high definition plasma cutting machine to complement the 10,000 sq ft custom steel fabrication facility and 4,800 sq ft paint shop.  Parkland Manufacturing Ltd. now has 27,000 sq ft of steel fabrication facilities on seven acres of land in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.  We still have plenty of room to growand heres your opportunity to be a part of our leadership team.

We created this senior leadership position to investigate, plan, and execute continuous improvement and lean manufacturing goals to increase efficiency, decrease waste, while adhering to high quality and safety standards.  Leading a team of ~30 people, this position serves as leader, mentor, coach and facilitator, including the day-to-day management of the factory, with implementation of Lean practices throughout the supply chain, operations, and logistics.

Reporting to the manager, you will lead and design Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement while employing Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives.  

    Min 5 yrs experience in a fast-paced custom fabrication and welding/manufacturing environment
    Lean certification through an accredited organization.
    Strong understanding of 5S methodology
    3-5 years of experience of welding supervision
