Qualifications:
- Masters degree or PhD (degree or candidate) in Community Health,
- Kinesiology, nutrition, health promotion or related field required.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in health promotion or related field with substantial experience working with inter-disciplinary teams and partnerships, data collection and data analysis linked to a population health intervention.
- Demonstrated experience with project/program management and program planning, implementation, monitoring of a comprehensive process and outcome evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and mobilize various research committees and working groups.
- Experience in data collection in physical activity and/or nutrition with young or school-aged children (gross motor skills evaluation, deploying accelerometers, nutritional analysis, anthropomorphic measurements, environmental scans, etc.)
- Superior communication, organizational and coordination skills: demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and interpersonal in English and in French an asset).
- The ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Preference will be given to a resourceful candidate with experience in community development.
- Working knowledge of Internet and computer tools (MS Office, Access, Google docs, SPSS, SAS, webinar platforms, etc.).
- Travelling throughout Saskatchewan is essential; must have a valid drivers license.
